Keith Lienert is an adjunct teacher at Elgin Community College where he teaches music appreciation, world music, music theory, and is implementing a Rock and Roll History course. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performance from Northern Illinois University and a Masters degree in percussion performance from Arizona State University.
Keith's performing and teaching career has taken him across the United States where he performed in Disneyland's Collegiate All-Star Show Band, taught at California State Long Beach, Arizona State University, Mesa Community College, Arizona School for the Arts, and recorded with Chuck Marohnic on his CD: "Listen" Sanctuary Jazz Music from the Studio.
Keith Lienert stays busy performing with local artists in the Chicago and Madison, WI areas on the steel pan, drumset, marimba and assorted percussion.
